Port report--Linux/sparc32

I just compiled 8.0beta5 on my old Sparc 5. All tests passed. This
is running Debian 3.0 with a 2.2.20 kernel. Sure took a long time. :)

I can test on an ia32/RedHat 6.2 machine if that would be helpful.
