Could someone for each port tell me what $(CFLAGS_SL) and $(LDFLAGS_SL)
are needed for each of these steps?

AIX 4.2+:

CFLAGS_SL:
LDFLAGS_SL: -G -bexpall -bnoentry -lc

If functions in other system libraries are used, the corresponding
library should
also be linked.
