Can anybody explain me, how to compile postgres source code in VC++.

You can't, at least not until 7.4. You can compile the interfaces like
libpq and the binary psql. See win32.mak for that.

Just kidding. :-) Right now you can't.

pgsql 7.4 should support native Windows environment.
