Postgresql 8.0 and XP

Hello All,
I have a dump file using phpPgAdmin in sql format.
I took this file and then using PgAdminIII ran the sql script on a Windows
XP machine.
Though i don't see any errors i can't see the database with tables being
created!!!
This approach had worked in the past for me on a Win 2000 box.
Why is that can't see the DB?
