Hi Community,

I have a server with Linux Fedora Core 6 and PostgreSQL 8.2.3.
The server has 4 G of RAM

I want to configure 1.2 G de RAM only for PostgreSQL. Which
could be a good setting?

When I try to run a join of three tables, PostgreSQL seems to be
hanged, although the join must return cero tuples.

Thanks in advance,

Leticia

*Hangs* like "all activity grinds to a halt", or "seems to hang
because the disks are grinding away"?

Do indexes support the join?
