Shouldn't you be updating doc/src/sgml/release.sgml, and then
regenerating HISTORY based on that?

(BTW, Tom fixed this typo in release.sgml 2 days ago.)

It was only removal of a single word, so I just edited HISTORY manually.
release.sgml was already fixed.

The commit I made to release.sgml changed a lot more than one word ...

Yes, Justin asked for a complete rebuild so I needed to do that anyway
before 7.3, so I did that rather than ask Peter, which is what I was
_going_ to do until I tried and go it working.
