Patch to make int8 values work inside plpython functions

Your patch has been added to the PostgreSQL unapplied patches list at:

I will try to apply it within the next 48 hours.

Using strtol() on int8 values (input parameters or result sets) in
plpython would result in numeric overflows causing the backend to
terminate abruptly.

This patch fixes it.
