Hi All!

Does someone know about any CASE
tools for Linux for E-R data modeling?

Greetings

Hi,

You can ask denn@unicorn.micex.ru about his Vinsent - E-R data
modelling. It has support for Informix and Postgres, it's free
and requires python, tcl/tk to run. I don't have right now an URL
for Vinsent but if you interested I'll email you.
I didn't tried Vinsent yet, installation requires tricking with various
components (tcl/tk, python etc). If anyone could port Vinsent to new
version of python, tcl/tk it would be great ! As far as I know Vinsent
is the only Case tool available for free. Denis discontinues this project
but source code are available. I'm not python+tcl/tk expert.

Regards,

Oleg
