Nice!

But there is error @
http://www.linuxworld.com/linuxworld/lw-1999-08/lw-08-penguin_1.html

it has a range of very advanced features such as r-tree indexing
for geographical data and concurrency control at a lower
granularity than common row-level locking.
The latter feature is unique among enterprise databases,

^^^^^^

including Oracle, DB2, and Informix.

^^^^^^
Oracle has MVCC!!!
As well as Interbase, Rdb(?)...

You mean www.postgresql.org? It was there within about 5 mins of getting
Tom's announcement!

OK, I get it. They wrote "unique among" when they meant "unique to".
That changes the meaning of the sentence radically...

For some reason Netscape doesn't realize that the page has changed.
Try "shift"-"reload" to get the new announcement.

Looks nice Vince. I'll send an account of the show tomorrow. Off to
sleep now...

Ummm, I read the above as "unique", as in nobody else has it, not even
Oracle, DB2 and Informix .. *shrug*
