Re: Just checking on a few bugs...
I never saw them. Strange.
I've sent two bugs to this list in the past few days from
one of my other accounts, and just got around to signing up for
the list myself--I wanted to see if they actually got here and
were addressed. The first involved SELECT/IN returning rows with empty fields
in ODBCThe second involved pg_dump crashing while trying to dump the
indices of databases with indexed oid fields.Anyone see those two come by? The mailing list archive seems
to be missing a few days in there.--

Ditto. I'm beginning to wonder if the mailing lists are dropping
traffic now and then --- this morning I received several messages that
were cc'd to pghackers, but I haven't seen the pghackers copies come
through yet... OTOH the flakiness could be at this end...

Read Adam's original ... he subscribed to the lists *after* submitting the
reports ... none of our lists will allow postings from non-subscribers, as
has been configured for *ages* now ...
Ed Loehr(sp?) just reported a similar problem with pgsql-general, and from
everything I can tell from looking at the pre-Majordomo2 lists, he was
never subscribed there or now ... this time, its not Majordomo2's fault
...
Adam, did you get any message back, though, on those patches? It *should*
send you something back to say it wasn't posted ... if not, then that
would be Majordomo2 not doing it ...

When unsubscribers send an e-mail, don't they get some reply telling
them they have to subscribe?

Perhaps you should either have a bounce message or modify the
bug submission form to mention this.

They weren't patches, and no, I didn't get anything back. I assumed
that anyone can submit a but.

nope ... with this last rash of problems, I'm sitting and reading th rough
each and every admin message and sending a message out to the user letting
them know ...
the concept appears to be that the last thing you want to do is let a
spammer know that his message didn't go through .. :(
