The lower the number the more severe it is.

Short Description
JDBC 7.0-1.2.jar has limit of 8k!

Long Description
when i insert a row data more than 8k into PostgreSQL7.1, jdbc throw me a exception called "SQL statement too long.", think it's a problem of jdbc code.

You need the 7.1 JAR file.
