version control backups?

do we have version control backups of each change submiitted to the
master CVS source? I would like to see at what point the bug is
introduced.

Yes, and with CVSup you can specify a time, down to the second, for
which you want a snapshot.

I thought the cvs log was on our web site. If you have logins privs to
postgresql.org, 'cvs log' does the trick.

What if I don't?
It can be done remotely no?

I don't think so.

No, it can't be...I'm including the complete CVS repository at the
time of the release on the CD, but that is about it...
