I myself read into the sources of version 6.2.1 all over february.

I did not learn it by heart, but I feel ready to start implementing
something now.

I would like to start with the HAVING-clause and when this works I want
to continue with the other missing items (UNION, INTERSECT, MINUS,... (maybe
something of this is already implemented??))

Could you please tell me, if this is all right for you?

Yep. HAVING is what I was hoping you could add, and OUTER. UNION and
subselects were added for 6.3. Added to TODO list.
