Hi again folks.

Well, this problem just got a lot bigger.

The previous update that does a sequential scan where it used to (under
6.2.1) do an index search on the outside condition just showed up in another
process - and caused it to generate a 426MB core image, at which point it
blew chunks.

Folks, this is a big deal, and may be why some people are seeing problems
with 6.3. If someone doesn't come up with a fix for this pretty quickly
we're going to have to back out 6.3 here entirely.

Sounds like a serious problem, but honestly, this is the first problem
of this type I have heard about. I am not saying it is not a bug, but I
have no other hint as to the cause.
