Is it possible to fix this before RC1?

bray=# \d price
                 Table "price"
  Attribute  |         Type          | Modifier
-------------+-----------------------+----------
 product     | character varying(10) | not null
 cost        | numeric(12,2)         | not null
 home        | numeric(12,2)         | not null
 export      | numeric(12,2)         | not null
 next_home   | numeric(12,2)         |
 next_export | numeric(12,2)         |
Index: price_pkey

bray=# select * from price where home = 1.50;
ERROR: Unable to identify an operator '=' for types 'numeric' and 'float8'
You will have to retype this query using an explicit cast

If it were an easily fixed thing, it would have been fixed long ago.
