Description:

After installing postgres on Windows 8.1, system can't access disk data
anymore. Needs complete reinstallation of Windows to solve it. Tried with 2
PCs.

Without more details on how you installed it (from where is the MSI
you used?) and what is the actual error happening in Postgres itself
we cannot help much. For what it's worth, Postgres is being tested
daily on Windows 8.1 in the buildfarm, per the machines bowerbird and
jacana:

And this is working fine. You may want to narrow down what's happening
more previcely if you want your problem to be defined as a bug.
