We still use postgres 8.4 for an old release of our software. We are
upgrading all users one by one to the latest version, but this takes time
(over 5000 clients).

If a client in wait needs a reinstall , we need to download your 8.4
postgresql.
It's no longer available and i don't have a recent copy anymore. Can you
please provide a last time use download link? thanks in advance!

This is not a bug; 8.4 is no longer supported. Please use the
pgsql-general list for things like this in the future.
