Dear Wizards,
I found a strange behaviour [3]"Something unusual has occurred to cause the driver to fail. Please report this exception" org.postgresql.util.PSQLException: Something unusual has occurred to cause the driver to fail. Please report this exception. org.postgresql.Driver$ConnectThread.getResult(Driver.java:361) org.postgresql.Driver.connect(Driver.java:281) java.sql.DriverManager.getConnection(DriverManager.java:571) java.sql.DriverManager.getConnection(DriverManager.java:187) using [1]postgresql-9.4.1208.jar in combination with a Linux Java
version "1.7.0_80" and also a Java 1.7 Windows version. The connection to
the database cannot be established. It works normally with Java 1.8. I have
both libraries in the library path [1]postgresql-9.4.1208.jar[2]postgresql-9.4-1201.jdbc41.jar and removing [1]postgresql-9.4.1208.jar (and so using
library [2]postgresql-9.4-1201.jdbc41.jar) fixes the problem.
