BUG #16509: Unable to change from 32 bit to 64 bit
The following bug has been logged on the website:
Bug reference: 16509
Logged by: Pierre Mantha
Email address: thecobv@gmail.com
PostgreSQL version: 10.9
Operating system: Windows 10 Pro
Description:
Hi
Noticed that we were running a 32 bit version.
Attempted to install 64 bit version.
Deleted all directories, all entries from registry - expect some temp that
would not allow deletion.
Rebooted
attempted to run installer for 64 bit version and keep getting this
message:
" You already have a 32 bit installation of pgAdmin4, Please uninstall this
before installing the
64 bit version".
So basically your uninstall process does not clear ALL values as this is
litterally impossible to do.

This list is for postgres server issues, while this appears to be an issue with
the pgAdmin installer. For pgAdmin bugs, please see the below page for the
appropriate reporting channels:

Hi Daniel
Well that was a complete waste of time.
In that link and the subsequent links there is absolutely no specific area
to report a bug.
You click on bugs and it gives you a list - impressive but useless.
With no specific link - well I will just leave it alone - not great
business practice in my book.

That's an odd way of showing appreciation when people try to help you with free
software support.

The referenced page has a direct link to adding a new bug in the issue tracker:
https://redmine.postgresql.org/projects/pgadmin4/issues/new
..as well as a link to the page for the support email list which has a detailed
section on the information to include in a bugreport:
https://www.pgadmin.org/support/list/
Either of those two is fine to use AFAICT (I'm not affiliated with the pgadmin
project), and both should work with the postgresql.org community account that
you used for filing the initial bugreport.
cheers ./daniel
Thanks, I'll check it out.
