BUG #17105: Repo-file pgdg-redhat-all.repo contains invalid option "failovermethod"
The following bug has been logged on the website:
Bug reference: 17105
Logged by: BITS Uni Bielefeld
Email address: www-admin@uni-bielefeld.de
PostgreSQL version: 12.7
Operating system: Centos 8
Description:
Hello!
Whenever using dnf with my systems I get several error messages:
Invalid configuration value: failovermethod=priority in
/etc/yum.repos.d/pgdg-redhat-all.repo; Configuration: OptionBinding with id
"failovermethod" does not exist
This seems to occur after an update of dnf. Problem is also mentioned in an
publically available ticket at RedHat's bugzilla:
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1961083
So my suggested fix would be: remove the unsupported option from the
repo-file.
THX in advance an with regards,
Peter.

Thanks for the report. Looks like I forgot to remove failovermethod
from testing repos. Fixed in 42.0.19.
