HISTORY file, others?

You probably already know this, but just in case:

I was just noticing that the plain text history file in the current
tree does not contain the newest info from the v6.4.2 branch. Also,
can you please merge that info into release.sgml too? Thanks...

Doesn't HISTORY get generated from the sgml?
