Hi all,

I believe this is a typo in the file
performance-tips.html (perform.sgml):

This plan proposes to extract the 50 interesting rows
of tenk1 using ye same olde index scan, stash them
into an in-memory hash table,

What's the typo? "Ye same olde"? That appears to be an attempt
at humor using Middle English. Here's a brief article about how
the "y" in "ye" is a misspelling of the "thorn" (�) character:

The Icelandic language still uses the thorn character, if I'm not
mistaken.

Here's another article mentioning that "y" was used in place of
thorn on printing presses that didn't have the latter character:
