Performance question PostgreSQL 6.4.2

I am interested in deploying PostgreSQL in a production environment
across one or more HP 9000/735s with 512KB of memory each. My
requirements are 3 to 5 tables of 100,000 rows maximum and a worst
case requirement of 23 writes/sec. Is this possible with PostgreSQL
6.4.2
on this hardware?
