What is that message which appears dropping some table.

My database is malfunctioning in some tables. Can't create table, can't
pg_dump.

This has happended to me when updating CVS copies of postgresql. If
you've updated your postgresql code without doing an dump/initdb/restore
then this might be causing your problems.

Can you use the -t option of pg_dump to dump individual tables? This
might salvage your data and allow you to re initdb the database and start
anew. Might give you the perfect excuse to update to 6.5 which I believe
is due out around the first of the month. ;-)
