Install Problems with 7.0.3 RPM

I'm having difficulty installing the subj RPM on a Mandrake 2.2.13
kernel. I think the problem starts with
sources in: //usr/src/RPM/SOURCES
spec file in: //usr/src/RPM/SPECS
After that the files are listed with "action: unknown"
I don't know enough about RPMs to trouble shoot it.
Any help would be appreciated.
