Recent Discussion on currval

I would just like to express my appreciation for the recent discussion of
currval and last_value. I was, of course, using last_value incorrectly which
would have resulted in some very difficult to diagnose errors. currval does
not enjoy a prominent place in the docs but it is in fact there and I missed
it, so thanks again...
