Assuming I already have a table in my database (test)...I want to show my
teacher all the commands I use and also the results, how can I do that in
PostgreSQL. I tried using \e filename, but I am having no luck.

Assuming you are using Unix, you can use script to capture all the output
on your terminal and store it in a file. If you are using another broken
excuse for an operating system, you may be out of luck...

$ man script
...
DESCRIPTION
Script makes a typescript of everything printed on your terminal. It is
useful for students who need a hardcopy record of an interactive session
as proof of an assignment, as the typescript file can be printed out lat
er with lpr(1).
