I tried many times to install SQL 7.0 without success. I receive a message
that MMC (Microsoft Management Console) is failed to be installed.

I have installed NT4.0 , Option Pack 3, I.E.4.01 , Service Pack4 , I.E.5.0,
Service Pack 5 and then I tried to install SQL 7.0 .

Is there anybody where I make wrong ?

Thanks
Michael

If you have a linux machine, try it on that. Because it was a piece of cake
for me.

Yes, you are posting to the wrong mailing list. This is for PostgreSQL,
an open source RDBMS, not MS-SQL 7.0 You should probably try Microsoft
support.
