Can anyone tell me what open source GUI clients are available for PostgreSQL
and where they can be downloaded.

Thanks,

The best one I like is pgaccess, but it does not support Copy/Paste.
Hopefully it will later on!

Re: GUI Clients for PostgreSQL

Well, we're working on GNUe Forms which is a data entry/query system that
works on windows/unix with both GUI and text modes. It supports
postgresql, mysql, and ODBC. We've still got a ways to go but the client
is functional (with postgresql and GUI) and you can do real work with it.

Our primary site www.gnue.org has been down since Friday but you can get
the 0.0.5 release from www.sourceforge.net/projects/gnue and get to some
of our stuff from our gnu.org site www.gnu.org/projects/gnue. The latter
site gives cvs download instructions which I'd recommend over 0.0.5 for
windows users or users that are comfortable with using cvs.

Take Care
James

Re: GUI Clients for PostgreSQL

Two other widely used GUI interfaces are hosted at GreatBridge.org:

PgAdmin is a Windows-based GUI:

http://www.greatbridge.org/project/pgadmin/projdisplay.php

phpPgAdmin is a cross-platform Web-based GUI:

http://www.greatbridge.org/project/phppgadmin/projdisplay.php

They're both excellent tools with comparable functionality, and
depending on your environment, one might be more appropriate than the
other for you.

Ned Lilly
