Video streams in Database

I have been working with Sybase, DB2 and
now PostgeSQL on Linux, WinNT and OS/2.
My need is to store continuous Video Steams
in a Database ( I assume as type Large Objects)
by breaking the continuous stream into segments.
Is Postgres up to this task?
What would be the General and Viable Outline as
to a database method.?

Based on 5000 containers.....
If the system has to store all of it, the total
capacity of the system = 5,000 x 75.6 GB/week = 378
TB/week.

Or should I not pursue a project of this type with
Postgres..
