OS X
Hi everyone,
Has/is anyone used/using PostgreSQL with Mac OS X/php? yet. I would
be interested to know your thoughts.
I have not actually used it with php yet but it will happen in the
very very near future.
Regards

I haven't used php with postgres under os x yet, but I have used postgres
on OS X (works fine and you can shut it down w/ shutting server down,
unlike MySQL on os x :)
I haven't tried it with php on os x yet, but I have on Linux and it works
fine- unless php fails to compile with postgres support on OS X (doubtful,
but...) there shouldn't be any problems.
I haven't found any quirks with php functionallity on OS X, including
MySQL, gd (with libpng, libjpeg, freetype support), or anything else. php
does well on os x. I don't think there would be any problem with php
postgresql support.

Hi Mike,
You might find the PostgreSQL on MacOS X installation guide written by
Alexander Lohse useful :
