Hi,

Will PostgreSQL be able to limit access on colums as well as tables?

Say we have a table foo having columns a,b,c.
GRANT UPDATE ON foo(a) to devrim;

Will that be possible as it is on Oracle?

Best regards,

Use views instead and then set the permissions on the view

TIP 2: you can get off all lists at once with the unregister command
(send "unregister YourEmailAddressHere" to majordomo@postgresql.org)
