PostgreSQL friendly ISP w/ Virtual Private Server

Hello,
Running into semaphore problems w/ postgreSQL installation, ISP not
willing to accommodate changes will have to move. Could any one
recommend a postgreSQL friendly ISP w/ Virtual Private Server services ?
