Questions concerning building db from xml file

I'm building a new app and I created an xml to build the db
from....wherever I specify a table to be built that does not use the
idbroker service, the resulting sql script lacks a datatype
specification for that column.

This sound familiar to anyone? Using tdk1.2 and postgresql 7.2.1.
