does someone know the Hardware requirements for Postgres 7.3 and 7.2.2 ?

Your database size determines hardware requirement.

On minimum front a 16MB machine with some decent disk space like 200MB would
do.

These are rough figures just to give you an idea.

Something resembling one of the platforms listed here:

http://www.ca.postgresql.org/users-lounge/docs/7.3/postgres/supported-platforms.html

and a hundred megabytes or so of free disk space should be enough
to get you going.

You'll need to provide more details if you want a more specific answer...
