libpq++ in 7.3?
Is it an accident in the documentation on the web site?
Or does postgres 7.3 not provide a C++ interface
library?
I remember reading discussions about libpqxx being
proposed as a replacement for libpq++, but I don't
know if it did indeed replace it, or if that has
anything to do with the missing libpq++ in the
documentation.
Thanks,
Carlos

libpq++ is no longer part of the core PG distribution (as with several
other client libraries). See http://gborg.postgresql.org/ for the
modules that have been separated out.

libpq++ was moved to gborg (as the release notes mention). You can find
it here:
http://gborg.postgresql.org/project/libpqpp/projdisplay.php

I believe it's available from the gborg site. Indeed, its advent was
what occasioned the removal of so many interfaces from the main tree,
if memory serves.

Oh noo!! Don't tell me that the Borg started to
assimilate Postgres?!! :-)
