pg_dumpall error: attribute not found

After the CREATE USER and CREATE DATABASE statements,
pg_dumpall gives this error:
\connect "db1"
pg_dump: query to get data of sequence "id_seq"
failed: ERROR: Attribute "increment_by" not found
pg_dumpall: pg_dump failed on db1, exiting
