BSD License
Hi Folks!
I dont know whether it would be possible or not, but wouldnt it be
time to update the license text to the text of the current BSD
license template? Or at least to replace "University of California"
with "The PostgreSQL Global Development Group" ?

Oh ghod, not *that* discussion again...
Read the archives (IIRC, the last really major go-round was in mid-2000,
but there were repeated flamewars before that). The general consensus
is that this is a can of worms we don't want to open.

No. Fortunately we agreed to try not to change the license again before
the "final" release of PostgreSQL. This _might_ take a while, but has
the tremendeous benefit of reducing the license changes to one.
