Upgrade from 7.3.4 to 7.4.2 went wrong

I get this error after doing the upgrade on FreeBSD 5.2.1:

The data directory was initialized by PostgreSQL version 7.3, which is
not compatible with this version 7.4.2

Should I just re-initdb and the import my dump file?
