PostgreSQL and Fedora?
Hi,
I'm curious to know whether PostgreSQL works well with Fedora RedHat Linux?
If there are any issues, I would like to know about them.
Many thanks.

I've 'just' installed 7.4.5 on FC 2. I also have a production server on
FC 1 also (well, a very small but very frequently updated database...).
There are no platform-specific issues that I can report, but let us know
if you experience some problems...
Regards,

No problems AFAICT, unless you want to run two different versions
simultaneously. Then you'll need to compile from source or tweak the
SRPM for the second.

I am running it on an i686 SMP system using FC2 with no issues.

We're running 7.4 on FC2 64bit in production, and 7.4 on FC2 32bit on two
different machines in testing. No problems whatsoever so far. These are
all running on RPMS supplied by Redhat.
