An interesting pgpool benchmark result

Hi,

I did a benchmarking on pgpool with replication mode enabled. The
result is reported at
http://pgpool.projects.postgresql.org/bench_24.html.
An interesting fact is pgpool outperform ordinary PostgreSQL at 128
concurrent connections despite of replication overhead. I would like
to hear from anyone who could explain this.
