pg_dump -o does not work on current

Can someone comment on this?

$ pg_dump -o regression >/dev/null
Can not create pg_dump_oid table. Explanation from backend: 'ERROR: Illegal class name 'pg_dump_oid'
The 'pg_' name prefix is reserved for system catalogs
